Fast one of our favorite meal delivery subscription, we love Sun Basket because of its paleo-friendly offerings and its commitment to USDA organic produce. This company focuses on farm-to-table ingredients that offer customers better nutrition, taste, and safety, while helping small farming operation remain sustainable for future generations. Recent recipes include ingredients from Lakeside Organic Gardens, a farm run by the Peixoto family in California that grows over 45 fruits and vegetables that are 100% organic. For seafood dishes, Sun Basket turns to the folks at Fishpeople Seafood based in Portland, OR. Fishpeople brings transparency to the industry by only fishing sustainable species in American waters, never overfishing or farming its catch.

This Europe-based company is dominating the meal kit industry with a presence in 9 booming markets across Europe, North America and Australia. In the U.S., HelloFresh strives to bring consumers fresh, sustainable, and environmentally-ingredients by partnering with several farms and purveyors across the country. Some of these suppliers include Del Rey Avocado of Fallbrook, CA, Sea to Table out of Brooklyn, NY, and Growers Express from Salinas, CA. When it comes to seafood, the company ensures it all meets basic standards set by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program.
